Okolo's Notion of African Being-with and Heidegger's Idea of Mitsein

While there is disconnect between white and black and other skin colours, there is need to see that everyone is a human being and deserving of equal respect and dignity on the basis of humanity. Through the philosophies of the African, Chukwudum Barnabas Okolo (Nigerian) and the European, Martin Heidegger (German), the author compares the two worlds and by the framework of intercultural philosophy advance a new ethical world order that grants respect and dignity to all people and promotes better human relationship.
